Biography
I love to see. Many of the earliest memories of my childhood in Philadelphia are reflections of what I saw. I would sit and simply look at my world.
This love of seeing lead me to graduate studies at Indiana University. There I learned how to learn. It opened up a world of an endless exploration for me in photography. For that I am thankful.
My images have recieved both national and international recognition. In 2004 I received the Golden Light Award from the Maine Photographic Workshops. My images, together with the work of Janette, have shown in many galleries around the country over the past five years.
My wife, Janette Maley, shared this pursuit of seeing and making with me for 33 years. For many of those years our work was seperate. But, her cancer brought our artmaking together. A great gift shared in a very difficult time.
